Paul always brings something different to the table...I would describe this album as feeling slightly looser than his normal production process... Perhaps this is what he means by "sorta trippy"...it's still great sequencer music though...his beats are infectious and the synth lines shimmer as usual...but perhaps it feels less sharply focused than a lot of his output (probably because Paul's 'transhuman express' isn't quite a stairway to heaven)...but there's no doubt that it all works fine... Weirdly, "cappuccino monkey" reminds me of the music to the TV cult series 'Callan' (now that's a memory dredge from a defunct world...thanks for that one Paul!)...
